Welcome to Living Little Web Thing

I'm Zohar Arad, a freelance front-end Web developer from Tel Aviv, Israel.

I've been a Web developer for since my graduation from the London College of Communications in July 2004 and have specialized in front-end development since. My work experience includes work as a leading front-end developer at Metacafe, and Rounds Video chat, and as a Webmaster at 106fm - Kol HaCampus Radio.

In addition to all that jazz I also write periodically at Newsgeek - Israel's leading technology blog, on a wide range of topics related to web technologies, ethics and philosophic aspects of development.

As a Web-developer and front-end expert, I believe that Web development is a holistic process where client needs, user needs and technology should converge produce the best of all worlds, using the right tools for the job.

Therefore I not only use modern tools such as Git, Rails, Django, CSS3 and HTML5 in my day-to-day development but also ensure that the final product works on all modern platforms and is built using the relevant tools and technologies.

Buzzwords aside, I offer my clients vast experience in web interfaces development, cross-browser compatibilty (is there any other way really?), excellent designer-developer workflow, performance aware development (on both client and server) and a mean cup of black coffee.

To visitors of “Living Little Web Things”, I offer a collection of Mootools-driven scripts and modules that I hope will be of use or serve as inspiration in your project. Please feel free to download and use them at will (with a credit to me of course).

Please feel free to contact me if you require my services or need any assistance with any of the scripts or have any feedback on them.
